Welder Watches

Welder watches hail from the same stable as Italy’s U-Boat watches, and share the design skills of watchmaker Italo Fontana.

Typically occupying the sub $1000 price range, Welder offers the least expensive route to owning a Fontana timepiece. While the movement differs from its more expensive stable mate, the large black dials and fluorescent markings make a Welder watch immediately familiar to admirers of the U-Boat range.

The crown is positioned on the left hand side, which may give the impression that the watch is made for the right wrist, but in fact has allows for a striking design that does not hamper wrist movement.

There are three series in the Welder range, the K-24, K25 and K-26. Prices start from around $600.
